What is Postcart?

Postcart is a service that enables people who sell things to sell online without having to invest the money and effort to set-up and manage an online store.

How?

Postcart lets you turn your social network into a channel for selling. Basically, Postcart lets you add a digital shopping cart to any social media post - on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, G+ to name a few - so that anyone who sees your post can buy from you just by clicking on it. It’s that simple!

Postcart lets you turn your posts into profits!

How does Postcart work?

It’s simple. First, you create a Postcart (a “post” plus a “cart”, ) that shows off your product or service. The Postcart will include all the information your potential buyers need to know about your product or service, like color, size, etc. You can also include pictures to showcase your work.

Then, with one click, you post your Postcart to your favorite social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and G+.

Once a buyer clicks on your post and places an order, you get an email right away to let you know. Log on to your Postcart dashboard to see all of your orders, and from there, you manage and complete the shipping process.

What does it mean to boost my postcarts?

We work with our affiliated networks (such as Google and Facebook) to "boost" your postcarts and help you reach new people outside your existing group of friends and followers who have an interest in your business. That way, more people, who are likely to buy from you, will see your postcarts. And it's free!

How can I tell my product pictures are the right size?

When you are creating your Postcart, the only picture you really need to make sure is perfect is your cover photo. The others will look exactly as they do on your laptop or phone once you post.
If the cover picture looks good as you are creating your Postcart, then it will look as good when it is posted. If it looks squished or stretched, then choose another photo.

Another tip: Choose pictures that are larger than 1200px wide and longer than 450px high. Also, make sure your product is centered in the picture.

How does my product get shipped to the buyer?

You continue to manage shipping as you always have. Our goal is to reduce the friction in online purchases without interfering in the relationship between sellers and buyers.

How do buyers pay for my product or service?

Postcart will manage the payment process for you, so you don't have to worry about managing and securing online payments. Buyers can use any credit card to purchase from you. We partner with Stripe to process our online transactions - one of the most trusted payment processors in the world.

How and when will I receive payment for my product or service?

Postcart will send you payment every month for all of the orders your buyers have received.

How much does it cost for me to use Postcart?

It costs you nothing to create Postcarts and publish them on social networks. Postcart takes 5% only when you sell your product
